My name is Darcey Johnson.

I am a Decluttering Specialist, Professional Organizer, and Certified ADHD Professional Coach.

I recently moved from Vancouver, BC
to sunny San Diego 🌴
and am SO excited to work with new clients
in a much less rainy place!

My job is to help you

What is HALO, and who is it for?

The first step of redesigning any environment is (more often than not)
the hardest; we must declutter.

This can be an extremely overwhelming experience for many;
one that requires significant time, energy and decision making.

Very often it will also uncover debilitating
emotions of shame, guilt, fear and loss.

Our "things" not only connect us to our memories,
but also represent the various passion projects and could-be problem solving solutions we have tucked in the back of our minds
(and corners of every closet).
This is all the fun stuff we don’t want to let go of, and yet can’t ever seem to “find” the time for.

One way or another, we hold onto objects because they are pieces of our past, our present,
and often a desired future.

When you think about it this way, it’s not difficult to understand why one would become
so quickly overwhelmed, overstimulated, and flippin OVER IT when trying to tackle these projects alone!

So first thing’s first…

HALO’s sessions are designed for anyone who…

  • Has tried to Marie Kondo their home, only to discover that somehow, everything sparks joy.

  • Has to clean the house before the cleaners come, so that the cleaners can, in fact, clean.

  • Feels as though they are in a codependent relationship with their laundry.

  • Struggles to see any sort of lasting progress, despite all the hours and energy put towards starting.

  • Is moving, feels overwhelmed, and doesn’t know where to even begin.

  • Is expecting company; perhaps a new baby making their debut earth-side, an old baby coming home from College, or in-laws coming to outstay their welcome!

  • Just needs a flippin hand getting started, staying consistent, and moving on with their life.

I take a very holistic approach to working with my clients, ensuring that we are making changes that
feel right and can be maintained over time.

Together, we will develop systems within your home, curated to your specific needs.

Each session is designed to support you in any/all of the following ways:

De-clutter + Clean

Organize + Optimize

Redesign + Redecorate

Manage + Maintain

Also included:

Donation Removal (one car load / session).
Assistance in sourcing new furniture, decor, storage systems etc.
(all purchases invoiced separately).

Though I love a good label maker, I do not spend time on creating Pinterest-worthy "perfection". 

Rather, the essence of my method is based on making the most of your space and working with what you already own, prior to recommending any additional items.

I will simultaneously help you let go of what is no longer serving you, as we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. 

My ultimate goal is to help you start your days feeling light, energized, happy and free, and to end them feeling accomplished, proud and settled in your space.
